Prior to my work in the United States, I taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Iran at Drizhno University of Arts and Kamal-ol-Molk University. My courses included Advanced Directing, History of Theatre in Iran, Fundamentals of Directing, and Comparative Eastern and Western Theatre Theories, alongside a wide range of practice-based courses in acting, voice, movement, and performance techniques.
My teaching bridges theory and practice, with a focus on contemporary and avant-garde performance, dramaturgy, and theatre history. I emphasize critical thinking, collaborative learning, and creating an environment where students actively engage with performance as both an artistic and analytical practice.
This is only a selection of my work. Please refer to my CV for a complete overview.
